Ocean view rooms are nice and the beach is a short walk away. Our room was outdated and needed maintenance. Friendly staff and the price was decent for the location.

The location is fantastic, just a short walk from Nye Beach. The room had a nice view, but cleanliness was lacking, and the bathroom needed repairs. The staff were friendly, but parking was a challenge. Would stay again if they improve upkeep.

The ocean view room was clean and modern. It had a nice open floor plan with plenty of space. Amenities included air conditioning, a microwave, refrigerator, and TV. The shower worked great, and there were free toiletries. A hot tub was also available. The location was close to shops and restaurants around Nye Beach.

Great location with a stunning king ocean view room that felt spacious and clean. Loved the vinyl plank flooring, and it's nice they allow pets for just a $10 fee. Unfortunately, the pool was closed, and I was disappointed by a few dirty spots in the room. The breakfast was underwhelming, with very little stocked. Minor cosmetic issues, like scratched walls and an awkward bathroom, stood out. It's a shame, as some simple updates could transform this place. Still, the ocean view made it worthwhile, at least for a short stay.

The room was spacious, and I appreciated the vinyl plank flooring-no musty carpet to contend with. our room had an old carpet smell, which was disappointing. The cleanliness left something to be desired; dust coated the heater/AC. Night staff provided little support during a disruptive stay. Sound from the upstairs neighbors made it hard to get a good night's sleep. Pool and hot tub facilities were down, a letdown for the kids. The beach access was a hike, not ideal. With small improvements, this place could shine. Reasonable pet policy is a bonus.

First off, the room was surprisingly nice and clean. I appreciated the effort put into the decor, and the location was fantastic, being close to plenty of eateries and the beach itself. The view from the 3rd-floor window was a treat, especially during sunsets when the clouds behaved. But, let's talk about the not-so-great stuff. The lack of direct beach access was a buzzkill. We had to trek a bit to get to the public entrance, which was a letdown considering the misleading description. the noise from the upstairs neighbors was a real issue. I could hear every creak and hum, making it hard to get a good night's sleep. On top of all that, the amenities were a bit hit or miss. While I was happy to have coffee-making facilities and a microwave in the room, the absence of ironing facilities and free toiletries was disappointing. And don't get me started on the limited parking and the chaotic check-in area - not the smoothest experience, to say the least. Waves had its ups and downs. If they iron out the kinks with noise insulation, amenities, and accurate hotel descriptions, it could really be a top-notch stay. But for now, it's a bit of a mixed bag.

We had a rad time checking out the killer views of the Oregon coast and Nehalem Bay! we hopped on one of those scenic train rides that was straight up lit!

Wish they had a bumpin' rooftop hangout spot for us party-loving teens! .

The unique views of the Pacific Ocean were awe, inspiring. Our family enjoyed the scenic train rides and the easy half, mile stroll along the lower trail. Visiting the Oregon Coast Aquarium and Hatfield Marine Science Center was educational and fun for the kids , an experience we'll never forget.

My wife says that families with children would appreciate more kid, friendly breakfast options.

we had a fantastic stay at oyo waves hotel nye beach. our king ocean view room was spacious with vinyl plank flooring, and we enjoyed the modern bathroom fixtures. the front desk staff were friendly, and we appreciated the pet-friendly policy with a reasonable pet fee. the location was great, and we were glad to have ac/heat in the room, which is not always common at coastal properties.

Walking on wooden footbridges surrounded by forests felt like a fairytale. The beach is perfect for whale watching. My dog loved the dog-friendly hotel. The jetty trail is great for jogging and cycling. The Oregon Coast Aquarium amazed me with its variety of sea creatures.
